Why we built Popaya.
When we started Popaya in 2017, the brief was simple: build a small team of senior people who ship on the date they wrote down in week one. No layered account management. No surprises in week six.
Eight years later, that hasn't changed. We work across product design, immersive experiences and real-time software for partners in North America, the UK and Europe. Most are still with us 3+ years in.
If you have something hard to build, I'd love to hear from you.
Long-term by design.
Working with Popaya felt like having an in-house team across the border. Same hours, same standards — and they actually shipped on the date we agreed in week one.
Shipped on the date they wrote down in week one.
The Unity team understood our hardware constraints faster than our own ops team did.
Questions before we talk.
We run shifts that overlap with your working hours — most of our partners are in North America, the UK and Europe. Daily standups happen in your timezone, not ours.
Most partnerships start with a 6-week scoped pilot to align on quality and pace. After that we move into ongoing pods, billed monthly. Long-term retainers are the norm.
Yes — we plug into your stack, your repo, your standups. About half our work is staff augmentation; the other half is end-to-end project delivery.
Always, before any scoped conversation. We also work under client MSAs without modification in most cases.
Fixed scope, fixed price for delivery work. Time-and-materials for ongoing pods. We commit to dates in writing in week one.
